Magnum constructed the new 24,000 SF Building housing the Facilities Administrative offices and the Maintenance/Repair shops for all Facilities personnel at SRQ. This project included the extension of fiber optic connections to the main operations facility approximately 2,300 feet away. The project site is located within the Restricted Airside of the airport facility. Magnum was required to have all personnel cleared by Federal Security and properly badged to work within the secure area. All materials are brought to the site through secure gates and inspected by airport police and/or TSA. Magnum’s ability to work under secure conditions and do it successfully is reason enough for having completed 7 other SRQ projects since 2002. This building has 6 large vehicle bays to allow for all SRQ Maintenance Vehicles and Fire Division Equipment to be serviced regularly. We constructed integral compressed air lines, lubricating fluid systems, and lifting equipment for the new facility. A portion of the first and second floors are finished to a Class A office interior for use by the administrative personnel. There are also training rooms designed to accommodate medium-sized groups of employees.
